Throwback Thursday, eh? These photos were taken before I had my ombre hair. I was still sporting my sidecut and brown mane back then. I'm not sure if I like my hair now or the one I used to have. Hmm.
Anyway. This vintage looking button-up top is one of my favorites in my closet. It's unique print is what makes me drawn to it. I think the top perfectly matches my brogues or oxfords (whatever you want to call it). These shoes were worn by men and boys in the olden times (which explains the title of this post) but it finally made its comeback and now, women and girls have taken a liking to it. To this day, menswear has been incorporated to womenswear which I think is an innovative way of enhancing women's fashion.

I’ve always loved long-sleeved button-ups. Its classic feel
and how it makes me look put-together is what makes me gravitate towards it.
Button-ups are not solely for business or corporate wear; they are great if you
want to look effortlessly chic. Since it is a basic garment, you have the
perfect canvas of accessorizing it if you want to dress it up or simply wear it as is
if you want to dress it down.
P.S. Sorry for the weird lighting in the photos. It was getting dark when we took the pictures and had nowhere to go with ample light so my sister and I went to the pool area of our building because that was the only available place during that time.
