Sweet tooth: 1 minute microwave brownie

I mentioned in my 2012 favorites post that I've been making this brownie almost everyday so I thought I'd share the recipe with you. Also because a reader suggested that I blog about it. Shoutout to Diwata Luna! :) Btw I'm not a pro or anything, this is just how I make it. I found the recipe online a long time ago and tweaked it a bit. It's very easy. Let's start!

What you need:

1/4 cup flour (Any kind will do but I prefer cake flour because the end product is soft and fluffy)
1/4 cup white sugar
2 tbsp vegetable oil
2 tbsp cocoa powder
1/4-1/2 cup water
A few drops of vanilla extract

*Optional: Substitute water with milk (If you want even fluffier brownie)

(I forgot to include the sugar in the photo, sorry!)

Microwavable bowl (Or you can use a mug)
Regular spoon (For mixing)
Measuring cup and spoon

I had to use this cup that came with the rice cooker since I couldn't find our measuring cup. Ha ha. I also forgot to include the measuring spoon, sorry!

What to do:

Mix everything well and place in the microwave for 1 minute.
Afterwards, sprinkle sugar on top.

Voila! You're done. :)

Or you could add ice cream of your choice on top if you want.

I hope you enjoy this. Let me know if you want more recipe/food posts! Take care everyone! :)

  1. Thank you so much!!! I am wondering about the white vinegar, it's the first time I saw it in a brownie recipe. :p

    1. The bottle? That's vanilla. No vinegar here. :)
